I Bit the Bullet and Signed Up For Wealthy Affiliate University
My head almost exploded and I almost strangled my cat after sifting through the google scam infested waters that is internet affiliate marketing. I feel like I just made it through The Used Auto Mall of America unscathed by grease-ball sale vultures trying to swoop on my credit card. I must give it to some of these guys though, they made every e-book sound like a goose farting out golden eggs. After endless hours of research and five recurring nightmares of Ewen Chia's face appearing while I slept, I ponied up the $29 bucks and am going to "school" at Wealthy Affiliate University!
Wow, the name really sounds lame but I'm giving it a go because it was the one place that looked like it had real info to offer. The owners of the Wealthy Affiliate University are marketers and have a brand to sell and there is a ton of stuff around the net advertising the site that rubbed me the wrong way and came across too "salesy", but I also found info that convinced me that there might be some substance to this place. I hope you stick around and follow my experience with Wealthy Affiliate University (if it sucks I'll cancel my membership; if not, I'll write about my experience and tell you the good and the bad so you can figure out if Wealthy Affiliate University is right for you. Wealthy Affiliate Price is Going Up!!!
We have been informed by Kyle and Carson that the Wealthy Affiliate University membership will no longer be $29.99/month. We do not know the exact price increase yet as they will not tell us, but we are told it is going to be a significant change. Luckily, pre-existing members are going to be grandfathered into the new price and will not be subjected to a change. We are told that the increase is going to happen May 6, 2008 and anyone that joins before this date will be grandfathered in at $29.99/month. If you are on the fence and considering joining, hurry up and do so before May 6.
